This is the card that I made for Sharron . It contains all the same colors and paper as the bag I made.

This gift bag was a little more complicated that the last. I used a hole punch holes on the strip that I was using for the top, I laced a pink ribbon through the holes and made a bow in the center.I used a printed page for the main color and a printed for the bottom trim. I then attached some flowers to the front of the bag. I stamped the white tissue with the same stamps that I used on the card that I made. This bag was for Sharron for her new baby girl. Sharon works for our office bookkeeper.
My creative crafts
This was the gift bag that I made for Courtney's baby shower. I followed Sue's direction as this is what we leared at our last Stampin Up meeting. It was fun and Susan is such a good demostrator. She made it fun. I chose light green checkered paper for the front and used a blue and green for the border. I made the little puff flower she showed us and the bag was a complete hit. I had to design the bag and then I knew what the greeting card would look like.

Here are three of my grandsons. Aren't they handsome little devils. Tate and Taylor belong to my daughter and her husband Travis. Daylon belongs to Sam Jr. and Tammy. I adore my boys . It is an adventure watching them grow up. Tate is so full of energy he can't keep still. He does nothing slowly. Its always speed , speed , speed. He gets himself into trouble this way but he has not mastered slowing down and using his brain yet. He is just all emotion. Taylor is a master of expressions and has no patience with adults. Why can't we just understand his world? He uses his hands to show his frustration . The other little man is Daylon and he is a vocal person. He yells when he wants attention and he loves to explore everything. I think he enjoys climbing up anything he can find. Mom and Dad are of an older generation and are having a time adjusting to this short solid ball of energy.

BEGINNING OF A NEW YEAR 2010
Where did 2009 go. I remember asking the same question last year at the same time. When you work you time is divided, working time and after work time. There were many great things that happened in 2009.... The baptism of Daylon Lane, Jessica getting married, and many times being with family and friends. It was a rainy year and Samuel did not cut much grass , Travis was rained out a lot and we were all short of money. A new President , unemployment , higher prices , health problems all were problems we have been facing. I hope that 2010 is a better year for all of us. Stress is major contributor to all our problems. We all fear the unknown. Can we meet our bills, will our health hold out , how are our children managing, when will we loose our jobs. Its allso scary. I have to beleive that I have to Trust that God will take care of us. We just have to beleive and live our lives according to His will. I go forth from this day knowing He is watching over all of us. January 1, 2010.
